Sixteen years as an experienced professional designing and decorating cakes in the city of Miami, and alternating as an International Chef, Chef Jackie is nowadays a very famous culinary artist together with her husband Chef Raul Salas together as colleagues and partners in their own private business Catering by Chef Jackie.
Since they first met during their days at Sheridan Technical Center, Chef Jackie and Raul fell in love with each other and with their kitchen. Together they have known how to establish a high quality standard of server, valuing honesty and dedication above all in their profession.
They have been invited as special guests in televised programs such as Despierta America, De Mañanita, Sabado Gigante, Que Sabor and MTV Reality Shows where their cooking abilities were showcased mainly in South Florida and even throughout the United States.
For more than a year, they were the Chefs of the T.V. daily magazine Quiereme Descalzi of America TeVe. They were successful with their T.V. Program "Que Le Pongan Salsa", and more recently, XX Mujer Tv, shown by TeleMiami, alongside Mega Tv, among many others.
Many well-known stars from the arts, sports, politics and corporate media have received the services of their corporation. Chef Jackie and Raul have gone as far as serving 1000 clients in the luxurious Fashion Show Extravaganza 2007 - 2008 of the Ocean Drive Magazine edited in Spanish language, and for the famous Welfare Institutions known as Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Key to the Cure, Make A Wish and the Kidney Foundation, among others.
However, it is not all about business and accomplishments to these chefs of south Florida. They have shared their knowledge and used part of their time teaching cooking classes and seminaries for free performed in Public Libraries in Miami Dade and Miami University, Kouvek Center.
